Santa Cristina's XVII Century Castle lies in a strategic position at the crossroads with Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany, ten minutes drive north of Lake Bolsena, only 3 km away from Grotte di Castro, a fascinating ancient village of Etruscan origin suspended on top of a rocky outcrop.

Just below and adjacent to the Castle, a typical XVIII Century farmhouse, and a large granary have been carefully restored to offer four picturesque cottages and two grand apartments all providing comfortable and typical Italian rustic accommodation.

The castle and its 350 acres have a great deal to offer the photographer, and many enjoyable hours can be spent exploring the castle and grounds to capture that special shot.

This is a wonderful place to stay - and on your free day, you may take the opportunity to enjoy, among other things, water-sports, horse riding, mountain-biking, hiking in the Monte Rufeno National Park or just lazing around the pool or, if you prefer, on the beach at Lake Bolsena.
